Thanks man, I'll take some pictures when I get a chance to show you the protrusion, may be a little bit of thread showing in the front. I think 18x9 would be ideal as would be flush with the guard and tyre would sit slightly more square than stretched imo.

Adding my fitment in here aswell. 18x9.5+38 Rays Gramlight 57dr's 245/40/18 Michelin pilot sport 5's Stock suspension with 20mm Whiteline lowering springs. No rubbing at all with this setup as of yet.

Thanks lads. Got the front lowered now as well and I'm loving it. Cars looking more and more how i want it now. Whiteline springs have made the car drive much nicer along with the bigger tyre. Front and rear fitment in photos below aswell for anyone interested.

No thats on standard 95 octane, nowhere around me has any 98. Need to get some octane booster for it for the occasional tank of fuel and eventually would like to get it mapped for irish fuel
