Welcome! You can buy adaptors that allow a little extra clearance. I believe you need them for an impreza. I think I needed spacers, but can't remember. I'll check on my build thread.

The weeping is a known issue caused by poor sealant that subaru used when building the cvt. The origonal fix for a weeping cvt oil pump was to top up the cvt. Subaru have since revised this several times, and now say to use threebond to seal it. Bulletin 16-103-16R

I'm selling my car. I'm thinking £16k with the cvt pump weeping, £18k fixed. I have the parts to fix it and plan to get it done before Christmas, but seeing if there's any interest on here. I plan to mot & service it when getting the cvt done.
