I went for a Kenwood DMX7522S along with a conversion to an XV radio and HVAC panel. Works flawlessly plus I'm not a fan of the HVAC switches that came with JDM Levorgs.

You're better off changing the entire radio. The JDM head units have close to no use outside of Japan unless you have Bluetooth.

The Outback wheels looks a little weird on the Levorg. But it's good you got a Singapore import. It's likely a high-spec variant, and it probably doesn't have the 114/135km/h cruise control limiter that JDM cars have.

Did you get your wheel from a wrecked vehicle? I'm not having too much luck looking for one from Marketplace or TradeMe in the South Island but maybe I'm not looking in the right places. Considering using a wheel from an Atenza or Skyline as a spare.

Have you managed to find one? Contemplating on a space saver spare but the foam insert at the back might not fit.

I see. I thought of using LEDs for my main beams and fog lights but didn't because I thought it was against the law. So it's okay for me to go LED for both of them? I have LEDs on my turn signals though, which I know is not prohibited.

I want to, really. But NZTA says that I can't put LED bulbs inside halogen housings so I'm just playing it safe. It's a shame, but I don't want to risk failing compliance checks. I'm new to the country so I don't know if I can get away with stuff like LED bulbs.

I think similar looking HVAC controls from the XV/Impreza/Forester will work. WRX/Levorg specific parts definitely have WRX/Levorg tax on them. For example, the WRX HVAC controls will go for something like NZ$100 or more, but a similar one from a Forester can be had for NZ$30.

Just want to know if the fog lamp bulbs on JDM Levorgs are H8 or H16. I bought H8 bulbs but when I took the old bulb out, it was H16. And I couldn't fit the H8 bulbs because one of the tabs was too wide for the socket. I can shorten one of the tabs on the H8 to make it fit, but I'm wondering...

I see. Be Forward Japan has lots so maybe you can start from there. But I'm not a fan of the JDM Levorg's HVAC controls anyway so I am planning on a WRX/Impreza conversion once I free up some funds. The AC mode button on my car also sticks so I do want to replace it at some point.

Quick update. After almost a week in the shop, my Levorg is back. The dealer couldn't exactly remember the part that was replaced but so far, the rough idle hasn't come back. Of course, I will observe the car closely as the warranty period expires within this month. As much as I want to say so...
