I had my 2 litre jdm (best spec) version imported for 20k. 55,000 miles on the clock and although the cvt fears are in the back of my head, not sure why as it's known the sti cvt is uprated, I know that if it blows, I'll either do a manual conversion or see if a different box fits.

Should be good next week. Just waiting the new bulbs

Brilliant thanks. I plan to install led sill covers and want to tap into the blue wire in the dome. I'll change all the bulbs then.

Did you ever cut them out. Can someone tell us what type of bulb each one is. I'd like to take the lenses off once I have the bulbs rather than remove the lesne and have to wait.

Edited as all is working now. The instructions show a yellow wire that you need to connect to in the door. A youtube video shows this as green. In my jdm it is a peach colour.

What did you do in the end?

If its anything like my touran, there's an electrical buzz followed by a click as it locks in place. As it locks in it makes a waterproof seal.

The Sti isn't avaliable in the UK without importing and when looking at parts, there's only ever the 1.6 or 2litre (164bhp) options avaliable. I plan to get 6 pots but will need new pads before I have the funds for them. Are the brake calipers the Same across all variants? I'd like...

The PCV valve in my eyes is a consumable and should be a service item. For its price and ease to do I will do it every 5,000 miles. Here is a great guide to it. Edited* lol...

I would have thought the strut would move inside itself at the top, under the dust cover. But these look like they go inside from the bottom. * my suspension feels absolutely fine.

The yellow part of the strut is going up and down. I guess a build up of dirt is rubbing against it and wearing the inner section down. I guess it's only a matter of time before it wears through and starts leaking.

While doing the mudflaps today I noticed this wear on the strut. I guess over time it'll wear through the meal, weap and fail. Great.

My centre display shows a tyte that after a moment goes green. I'm guessing it's checking the sensors. Mines a jdm also.
