Auto lock after leaving the car issue

Hey,
I've got trouble with auto-locking system. I have auto-lock set to 30s. but it seems it's not working at all. Is there any condition that makes it unoperational?

Doesn't the auto lock only work if the car was locked, and you press unlock on the remote but don't open a door then it relocks the car after 30 seconds?

Really? I was pretty sure after I bought it it was locking as I described in the first post . In any case, it doesn't work the way you described either
