When installing my electric boot, and rear inner lights, I didnt see any spare plugs. Im sure there will be a 12v live you could splice into though.

The issue i have with sound videos, is that I find they never sound the same on a video compared to real life. On first start up, after my car sitting there for weeks, the engine sounds like a tank, which being in enclosed garage, drowns out the exhaust a little. I will do some drive by videos...

Im no mechanic but see that type of metal as swarf. Id say its normal.

I thought sparkles was normal as you have metal constantly rubbing. Were there any chunks? Thats when I'd worry. Did you take any photos of the fluid as mine was a very dark brown when I drained it, and it looked nothing like the sparkly videos ive seen online.
